UAB Juodeliai Successfully Completes FSC® Chain of Custody Recertification

In March of this year, an FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) recertification audit was carried out at the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai. The audit confirmed the company’s compliance with FSC system requirements as well as the EUDR regulation (FSC® license code FSC-C084311). During the audit, the scope of the certificate was expanded to include an Anti-Stain Treatment (AST) unit in Radviliškis, which began operations at the end of last year.

The audit was conducted by the international certification organization Preferred by Nature, which evaluated the company’s operations against the key FSC system standards: FSC Chain of Custody (FSC-STD-40-004 V3-1), FSC Controlled Wood (FSC-STD-40-005 V3-1), FSC Trademark Use (FSC-STD-50-001 V2-1), FSC Multi-site Certification (FSC-STD-40-003 V2-1), and the FSC Regulatory Module (FSC-STD-01-004 V1-0_EN), ensuring compliance with the EUDR regulation.

During the audit, the company’s processes across the entire supply chain in Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland were assessed, including raw material sourcing, supplier control, production, accounting, and labeling.

The successful results of the annual audit confirm that UAB Juodeliai consistently follows the principles of circular economy and sustainability in its operations and ensures compliance with all applicable certification system requirements.
