UAB Juodeliai launches professional kiln-drying (KD) services

UAB Juodeliai, one of the leading producers of wooden pallet components in Europe, is expanding its portfolio of services and now offers clients professional wood kiln-drying (KD) services. Next to the new production facility in Marijampolė, modern wood drying kilns are being put into operation, enabling customers to receive not only freshly processed but also kiln-dried certified products.

The new dryers are equipped with twelve modern drying chambers that comply with international ISPM 15 requirements. These chambers provide thermal treatment for products of various dimensions, starting from 800mm in length. In addition, an automated repackaging line is operational, ensuring efficient and seamless organisation of processes.

By integrating the core stages of wood processing – sawing, machining, and kiln-drying – all in one place, UAB Juodeliai guarantees exceptional flexibility, shorter lead times, service quality, and tailor-made solutions to meet each client’s specific requirements. Managing all operations within the same facility ensures complete control and enables the fulfilment of orders within a remarkably short period of time.

It is expected that the first products processed in the new UAB Juodeliai drying facility will reach customers this September.
