UAB Juodeliai Initiates Construction of Second Production Facility in Marijampolė

The wood processing company UAB Juodeliai secures a contract worth EUR 13.5 million with Panevėžio statybos trestas AB (PST). This contract encompasses the construction of a second production facility and the renovation of engineering networks. Marijampolė Municipality, where operations first began in 2020, is the chosen location for the company’s expansion at its production site.

While the second UAB Juodeliai production facility will closely resemble the existing one in terms of size, it will have a marginally different profile. This opens up the possibility of diversifying the product range and incorporating a broader spectrum of raw materials, including alternative wood grades.

With a total area of around 14.7 thousand sq. m, the new production facility buildings are being meticulously designed to form a unified complex. This cohesive approach ensures that the materials and colour palettes used in the future will align with those of the existing production building. Anticipated completion of the works is set for the end of June 2024.
