Sliver

During the manufacturing process, UAB Juodeliai produces about 3300 solid cubic meters of wood sliver (technological sliver or wood chips) which is used for the production of bio-fuel and furniture plates.

Technological sliver of the wood processing company:

By type of timber conforms to the sawdust structure: 30% of conifer and 70% of leafy wood.
Conforms to the natural humidity level which is about 50%.
20-25% of the mass is compound of the bark.

Sliver

With regard to clients’ requirements, the sliver in the Jūrės department is divided into the dark (up to 50% of the bark) and to the white (up to 10 – 15 % of the bark) one.
