15/12/2017 /  UAB Juodeliai contributes to arrangement of the ligneous crop plantation for learning and demonstration

Expanding on the project, UAB Juodeliai, a wood processing company, is involved in, we are happy to share that this project will contribute not only to strengthening of entrepreneurship education of specialists in the forestry sector, but will also open up new possibilities for scientific research on ligneous crop grown on plantations. Another objective of this initiative is to promote plantation farming of Christmas trees, bush fruits, medicinal and energy plants.

UAB Juodeliai is one of the project’s sponsors who contributed to installation of the plantation fence, acquisition of the necessary mechanisms, tools, chemical substances and planting stock of bush fruits and willows.

17/11/2017 /  UAB Juodeliai elected one of the Lithuanian industry sector leaders

The participants of the Industry Sector Leaders election organized by the daily Verslo žinios involved companies which by 31 May 2017 provided their financial reports to the Centre of Registers and were included in the list of the largest Lithuanian companies.

During the first stage of the election the companies were being selected based on financial criteria: sales revenue, profit before tax and the change in these criteria compared to the previous year. Five companies per each criterion made the list. These companies are leading in the industry sector based on each of the above criteria. Moreover, only the companies that were profitable in 2016 were selected.

Wood processing company UAB Juodeliai was selected as one of the 20 companies during the stage one, and during the stage two, it was selected as one of the three strongest industry sector companies by popular vote.

27/10/2017 /  UAB Juodeliai attends the Career Days

On 17 October 2017, UAB Juodeliai, a wood processing company, participated in WANTed Career Days at Kaunas Technological University (KTU). This is the largest fair in the Baltics bringing in touch students and businesses. This year the event has been organised for the 13th time.

More than 130 companies and organisations displayed their stands during the Career Days, which attracted the attention of around 9,000 students, graduates and pupils. All enterprises participating in the event demonstrated their uniqueness and value not only for customers but also for future employees. Traditionally, the wood processing company UAB Juodeliai has been attending this career fair for six consecutive years.

The company representatives are not only involved in headhunting at the Career Fairs, but also introduce the company activities and perspectives to students, which helps to quickly attract new specialists for a number of vacancies in this growing enterprise.
