From September 20 this year, the UAB Juodeliai wood processing company became a member of the Association of Knowledge Economy Forum. Knowledge Economy Forum is an expert non-governmental organization which has now been operating for fifteen years and aims to develop a competitive state by using knowledge and creativity. Main activity areas: progressive and innovative business, lifelong learning, and open and knowledge-based state governance. The Association unites representatives from more than 50 different sectors; business, science, government and society.

UAB Juodeliai attracted the attention of the Association members last year when it was taking part in the Knowledge Economy enterprise awards, in which it reached the final stage as one of the top three traditional industry enterprises (for implementation of innovations in company activities). The company also attracted attention by its initiatives in education. One such initiatives was its participation in the project for the establishment of a demonstration and training plantation of Christmas trees and decorative plants.
